Women's Soft Ball Cricket
Women's Soft Ball Cricket
Season 2024
The club is delighted to offer equal opportunities for both female and male cricketers. We aim to play a key role in transforming all elements of women’s and girls’ cricket in the local area and to increase engagement, grow representation and improve opportunities across the game.
Soft Ball Cricket is about getting out and playing; maximum fun, minimum fuss. No pads, no hard ball, no heavy bat, no head-scratching rules. It’s a game for absolutely everybody, no matter your skill level, fitness or age. Playing time at festivals is usually between two to four hours, so it never gets boring! (each fixture is usually less than an hour).
Women’s Soft Ball Cricket is a great opportunity for women, of all ages and experiences, to participate in regular cricket fixtures whose primary focus is on socialising and having fun. Results are not important.
The Club will be hosting its festival on SUNDAY 16th JUNE and the team will be going to several festivals throughout the summer.
Indoor League: from January 2023 the team will be entering the Wiltshire Indoor Cricket League with matches on Sunday afternoons through the winter into early spring.
Training is on Tuesday evenings. NEW PLAYERS WELCOME
