Whilst one of the Club’s aims is to instil a lifelong love for cricket in junior players, we also recognise the importance of providing a positive experience for all adults playing the game. Whether that be people completely new to cricket or juniors progressing out of a youth section and into an adult cricket environment.
In Memoriam
The village of Sutton Veny has a strong bond with Australia. The 143 servicemen and nurses who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country, and who died half way round the world at the end of the Great War, are buried in the graveyard of St John’s church. Their uniformly laid out gravestones are meticulously tended and the church always recognises them with services both on ANZAC Sunday in April and at Remembrance in November.
Women's Senior Cricket
The Club is delighted to offer equal opportunities for both female and male cricketers. We aim to play a key role in transforming all elements of women’s and girls’ cricket in the local area. We want to increase engagement, grow representation and improve opportunities across the game.
